Ramallah. For Al-Hayat Al-Jadida. CARE International is in the process of providing the Ministry of Health with large quantities of basic supplies, medicine, and spare parts, worth four million dollars, to help meet the needs in the various fields.

In addition, CARE distributed 33 kidney dialysis machines to the various hospitals, and gave medicine, supplies, and medical equipment to 50 NGO clinics to help develop their work.

Currently, efforts are underway to provide assistance to 11 NGO hospitals that will receive medical equipment, spare parts, and medicine, including a state-of-the art electricity generator that will meet the needs of the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem.

CARE is in the process of helping 12 Ministry of Health hospitals, and the Augusta Victoria Hospital in Jerusalem, by supplying them with kidney dialysis machines, especially for kidney dialysis among children. CARE is one of the few organizations that are offering help in this field.

Assistance is provided under the third phase of the Emergency Medical Assistance Project, implemented by CARE, and funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
