Strengthening Civil Society Organizations to Respond to the
Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza (Tazeez)
To provide sub-grants to civil society organizations (CSOs) that deliver humanitarian assistance in the Gaza Strip and to help them build their organizational capacity and promote social networks.
Sub-grants ranging from $ 40,000 to $ 150,000 are provided over 12 to 18 months to CSOs who provide assistance to vulnerable groups in the areas of food security, health, water and sanitation. The project is helping community based organizations share their knowledge and experience and build alliances with the wider community so they can work collectively. The project also supports local organizations promoting human rights with emphasis on women, youth, and the poor.

10 civil society organizations are receiving grants under the Tazeez project.
