CARE Partners
CARE relies on a vast array of partners in our mission to serve the poorest communities in the West Bank and Gaza. By working in partnership, we improve our efficiency and effectiveness, and increase our impact on poverty.
Organizations
CARE works with other organizations to maximize the impact of our programs, building alliances and partnerships with those who offer complementary approaches, are able to adopt effective programming approaches on a larger scale, and/or who have responsibility to fulfill rights and reduce poverty through policy change and enforcement.
According to CARE West Bank and Gaza, a partner organization is one that takes shared responsibility for the project and its impact, working with us from the development stage to the end of the project and contributing to its sustainability. CARE ensures that key participants and organizations representing communities as constituents are with us in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of our programs.
Donors
CARE is cooperating with government agencies and private donors. Operating on the local, national and international level, donors provide us with cash and in-kind donations, expertise, shared resources and other forms of support. CARE programs are funded by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Humanitarian Aid through CARE France and CARE Austria, the European Union through CARE UK, Ford Foundation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and private donors. Our program impacts more than two million people in the West Bank and Gaza annually.
