Gaza, Occupied Palestinian Territories (Jan. 21, 2009) – In one of the first rapid assessments of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, almost all (95%) households reported a high level of fear among children, with more than half of all children suffering from bed-wetting (62%).

In response to the October 28 flooding in northern and southern Gaza, CARE replaced the electrical panels of a sewage and storm water pumping station and distributed hygiene kits to 180 affected households in the Jabalia refugee camp.
